been a while since i last updated. well, rite now im posted to cdc for my attachments, pretty far for me but oh well. that's not what im gonna yak about fer this entry.

i've started to notice that ive not been really contacting my friends for the past few....months ? but come to think of it, do i really have friends ? sometimes i wonder, i try to count out the people, but it all adds up to zero. i mean the ones that has always been there for me when times were shitty and im really a part of their social life....get what i mean ? oh well, it doesnt matter if u guys dont...but, i guess i do have a handful of people i can rely on, first and foremost, liah, my gf, she's been there 24/7. thanks alot dear. and there's elias, i mean, i dont really get to hangout with him all the time but hey, he's kinda the best classmate around. haha, kembang ah kau bangla ...hmm. sheit, i cant think of anymore. well, no offence guys....

i've always wanted a friend whom i can share my music tastes with and not be criticised, a friend whom i can give my comments and views to, a friend who'll be more than willing to hang out with me whenever possible. kinda hard to find huh.....oh well, i think im starting to feel abit emo here. -sighs- ....but then again, i've a girlfriend who's all that.

well, just finished watching the liverpool chelsea match and i kinda feel like writing an entry. well, first thing first....sorry guys for not updating cause im havin attachment now, and im REALLY busy...so sorry bout that.

yeah, today 22 april, pink stiletto performed at marine cove...yeah it was cool ah. although i wasnt totally confident about our set. woke up at 11am then straightaway practised all the songs that we're gonna play, which made me late in meeting the guys. but it was worth it ah...reached east coast around 4 plus, chilled at mac, till ard 6 ... so, before watching the gig, we went to fad's car to grab our equipment and stuff before heading off to the venue.

the stage's kinda small ah... its more like an amphitheater, but its okay...i like it...alot. hehe. so it was 610 and there's this jrock band ah...they dress like X Japan...but they play....wah...very sad ah...no wonder they went all the way to dress up, cause they suck at playing..haha. sad attempt ah...now now guys, im not bragging here....then came their last song, i was kinda tensed up at first but im alrite. "okay next we're gonna call Pink Stiletto!" ....its showtime everybody....brought my fender on stage and at the same time, i was searching for ANY familiar faces out there in the crowd while setting up my stuff...sadly, nobody there, except the east coast goers. so yeah, our first set was 'invasion' ...wah, shocked shit sia ... yeah, we took them by storm. haha. then we played 'people like you' a more happy going easy listening song...fad working good on the keys. hehe. then came our instrumental ' 7 bubbles' feeeeeeling seyy...with fad's new intro, its becoming more beauuutiful...and then came our first cover. "you Give LOOoOoOoove a BAD NAME" ..haha, yeah, a bon jovi song...faizal, being too frank, admitted that he's gonna suck singing the song...haha, but its okay...next was our 2 ballads, can see some couples embracing...and dynn, faizal and i were like sitting on the stage....acoustic session la konon .... haha. then came our last song. 'don't sweat the little stuff'...it was great, i didnt fumble on my lead intro, okay la.....dynn, being so ambitious today, walked down the stage during his solo and i was like ..."wah....dynn da terror ah"... ape lagik, aku pon turon ah ...hehe, eirfan joined the fun too...haha. really ah, cool shit ah....seriously. its time that i need not depend on my 'friends' for support...its time that i depend on myself

i've learned alot of things today.....

just be yourself, do what you like, fcuk what others say about your ideas

as long as you love what you're doing and in the end, you're happy .

yeah, i received ALOT of criticisms about my ideas and sense of taste and style...you guys who kutuk me should know ah, and fcuk you all. phew.... now, did i get my statement clear ??

its3 pm and im at the elab now...waiting for naz to finish his project before we set off for DOTA with ryan. today is kinda a boring day ah, 2 lectures, which i didnt go and 2 hours of lab. bio lecture lecture has been cancelled due to come reasons which i didnt know...-sigh-. been really looking forward to bio lect. i really wanna buck up on my bio after the loo i made during the prac.

geez, elab sucks....there's alot of irritating people ah. and they drive me crazy. -nuff said-

Anyway syakir pulled me to play in his alt/grunge band....which means i have 5 bands to run now....5 bands...~ sheesh.... laku sangat ke aku ni.... hmm..oh well, think i can manage. i think. really gotta prioritize my stuff from now ah.

31st december was kinda a big day for me. although i didn't spend it my girlfriend but at least i got to spend it with pink stiletto and some of my close friends.....~

woke up and rushed to bath. had to meet band at 1015 at JE. but oh well. i wasnt that late in the end..i think. headed to beat merchants in fadhly's car.

11.00am

reached beat merchants. jammed for 2 hours. met derailed, goin to share the stage with them on the 13th of january at nyp (dont forget to come ah..~~) well, we practically focused on 4 of our songs which we were goin to play later in the day. quite tiring. but had lotsa fun.

01.00pm

finished jamming, decided to have lunch at jurong point. banquet. haha. had japenis food. i loike...~ whahaha. i already felt nervous then.

03.00pm

reported at boon lay cc. had to drag all our instruments up and down the stairs. tired sey... met up with the organizer, maxie. i think din liked her...haha.

waited at the mainstage for our soundcheck. had to watch some middle age people rehearsing their stupid dance and singing act. crappy sey...but i like the cheerleaders from ngee ann, magnum force is it ? think they're kinda cool...jumping many many. and this hip hop dance thinghy...okay, ah, im not of a hip hop fan. but i think they're good. then after that...comes our soundcheck. Vic wasnt too happy with the drumset being the high level player that he is...oh well, who wouldnt. carlos cymbals ? kwang kwang kwang.... for me. i think the bass amp's okay. but it had too much punch and i wasnt too sure on how to manipulate it. oh well. nehminds ah.

our sound check ends....kinda long eh for a soundcheck...hehe. so we had to report back to the holding area for the performance. had imitation nasi lemak. which had only white rice fake nasi lemak sambal.

we were ushered to the vip area backstage. and the countdown for 2006 at boonlay has already started....there was alot of people sey...i was surprised that the crowd didnt only consist of ahpek and ah mahs...haha. at this point of time. i was nervous to the core.

its our set...wah, nervous sey...but somehow, i felt like a rockstar....hahaha. seriously sey, with the crowd and the lights. " semi finalist of the yamaha asianbeat competion" kembang sey when the emcee said that haha...so we began our set. played invasion, people like you, 7 bubbles and dont sweat the little stuff...which i screwed up at the intro...haha. after that, waahh....people kept completing on our band sey...its nt that im action or wad ah...but really sey, macam rockstar...haha.

after our set...i separated with the rest at the bus stop. ad called, asked whether i was goin to yans place. so i was, and she tagged along.

so, we went to yans place. wasnt there for long...then headed back home. the hot dog was nice....good job yan.

well, today went jalan raya with my neighbourhood friends...well, yeah, i must admit that it is great or should i say...fun! haha. well, its been quite some time we met up together as a large group. so here's how the day goes....met them at ard 230, went to hanafi's place first ate, slacked for awhile then we moved over to ilaisha's house and we ate again...oh yeah, ilaisha's the brother in law of spellbound's guitarist, just for your info. next we moved over to asri's place...he's alone at home so in the end, he tagged along with us. so yeah, now there's 15 of us. quite alot huh. one of the reasons we dont get that much raya money i guess....so we covered around 3 houses before heading to kobe's place at boon lay. it was great, kobe being the karaoke enthusiast turned on and set up his karaoke system. so yeah, they sang all the malay2 songs....unfortunately, there wasnt any malay rock songs for me...lame. but in the end, i was forced to sing, and it was the lamest song ever...peter pan's ada apa denganmu. lame siol!! kalau tak nyanyi korang kate tak sporting ... and wasnt the end, after abt an hour of karaoke at kobe's we went to azhar's place which was the last place and there was another round of karaoke, count me out. so they sang and sang....till it was 1:15 am. finally we went back....-phew-

so, in a nutshell....today was fun and also kecohrable.....haha.

oh well, found out that pink stiletto didnt make it thru to the grand final. but its okay, i had a great time yesterday, seriously, didn't expect samir and hafiz to turn up. thanks guys. so yest. after my slot, which was the first damn bloody one, i chilled out with samir and hafiz and checked out the other bands, and i must say that they're good, if they aren't why would we be in the semis rite..? haha. okay, so abt 7 plus we went to far east to get somethin to eat, pelesit kota backpackers they call themselves, next, we checked out borders did some really stupid stuff which i dun wanna mention here..haha. so after that, we decided to go back home, but i had to meet up with my cousin.

met him at topshop, wisma, he was with naz and asri. out of the blue they asked me along to go one of their aimless jamming sessions. i was like...okay, anything, but in the end, we decided to play cs. haha. been yearning for that for a long time. finally, found some cs kakis.

okay people, im updating my blog now...since YUNiza asked me to.

oh well, here it goes....woke up ard 630 today met dear at ard 745 at cck, cause we got exams at 9. so yeah, i reached skool ard 845 read a few pages which didnt really help, and before i knew it, i was in the exam hall. so yeah, i finished the paper in an hour as i expected so yeah, then i waited for dear outside the sports hall. things were kinda slow in school, maybe its the fasting month..i guess. oh well...

next, me and dear headed off to ikea, she wants to get her stuff for hari raya, so yeah, i just accompanied her ... we went back taking the cab and i dunno why, but i just felt like puking when i was in the cab, my head was like turning round and round and round...woaaah...~ but i managed to hold on...so....i reached home at abt 3 plus, played game for awhile before i set out of the house again, this time to geylang, no people, not for jalan2-ing, but for jamming...yeah, today misattax decided to jam at IJ at paya lebar, we break fast at kampong melayu before headin to IJ, and i must say the place is quite cozy to be honest. just feels like home, anyway, it is a HOME ...abang wan (the owner), jammed with us for a few songs, think it was, kekejaman, pawana, gadisku and ikrar perwira, yeah...he's good. damn good, makes people who're good....look not good....get it ? haha...

so...we finished jamming at ard 1040 lepak at macD`s for awhile then we headed home...god i was sleepy in the train. thankfully hafiz's ard. so yeah...basically that's it...

well, pink stiletto had a performance last saturday. our 2nd gig. our best yet ...haha. this time eirfan gave all his crazy sheit..~ haha. we played all originals that day except for one cover by edguy's vain glory opera. yeah..it was cool..but what's even cooler was when this band played techincal difficulties by racer x and the extremist by joe satriani. crazy shit ass man...well, im happy with the way life's goin for me i guess....happy bands and a happy life . yurihahn's favourite. and not forgettin that my anniversary is comin soon...! -grinnnnnns-

well, its a friday today, and again, im in the ELP. waiting for liah to finish her night class. well, its quite a long day for me actually. but not really ah. reach school at 9 for group meeting, kinda okay since im a lil bit involved in the discussion where im always being ostracized most of the time. crap. yeah, after that had national education. honestly, i think that's the only module that im good at. well, not really good..but, can make it, mmm..u know..~ yeah, than went for my friday prayers with elias the bangla man. went back to school met doris chan the *toot* up lecturer i've ever met. luckily she didn't yank me to the max. and then....yeah, its gym time. need alot and i mean alot of catching up to do man...my right arm keeps aching and i don't know why....think im turning old young. -sigh-....im bored. nuthin much to do here. most of the sites are blocked and there's nuthin else to surf except for lookin at all these e-learnin bullsheit.

yeah and that reminds me....bandzout is comin up! yeah...im gonna win it, i know i could, damn, can't wait for it...muahaha. hmm, met harez yesterday, didn't meet him in abt 2 years ? yeah...he's a great buddy if u'd ask me. planning to meet up again later after sendin liah home...

hello, everybody, well this is my first entry of my so called new blog. i dunno why the hell i wanna make one. oh well, just to kill time while i wait for dear to finish her night class. hmm, on second thought, havin a blog is kinda nice. well, i dunno. hmm...well, nuthin happened much to day i guess, reach school at 9 plus, was late for group meeting. but heck, who cares. then had NE, was okay. then had lecture, where i fell deep asleep and yvonne recorded me snoring~ *drats* oh well...here i am now..in ELP. waiting. have ard 1 hour more to go. well, think i'll just stop here then. see ya ard ppl. and yeah, i'll still be updatin my multiply..=)
